Apex Legends Shader Cache Issues on Minecraft

As a gamer, it's frustrating when unexpected issues arise, and one such problem I've been experiencing is with the shader cache in Apex Legends, particularly in conjunction with Minecraft. The size of my shader cache has ballooned to an astonishing 15.5 GB, a significant increase from its usual size of around 7-8 GB. This sudden expansion has led to a plethora of issues when launching Steam after restarting my computer.

Before this problem started a couple weeks ago, I didn't encounter any difficulties with shaders downloading and compiling only periodically or after Nvidia driver updates. However, since then, every time I launch Steam following a reboot, I experience numerous shader cache downloads and compilations for various games. Opening the Settings menu and navigating to 'Shader Pre-Caching' confirms that the shaders are indeed being compiled.

I've tried troubleshooting this issue by ensuring my system is up-to-date, which it is (Steam client version at 00:09:09). I have also enabled 'Allow background processing of Vulkan shaders,' as recommended. Despite these efforts, the problem persists.

To summarize, every time I launch Steam after restarting my computer, the game re-downloads and compiles the shader cache for every game, causing significant delays and frustration.
